We look at the WHY and we find reason,
labels,
blame.
We find a way to respond,
a way to support.
WHY holds great value in understanding what was.
But asking WHY without asking WHAT, is to remain in the presence of brokenness.
When we ask WHAT
we dare to imagine what God can do with the thousand shattered pieces we open our mind to possibilities
which opens our eyes and our hearts.
WHAT makes us instruments
to bring the power of God into the world.
When we ask WHAT, healing can begin
what is God doing in this season of my life..what plan does He have for me...what are the lessons I am to learn...what gifts am I not seeing in this dark season...
When others ask WHAT, we come alongside
what can I do to help...what can I pray for you...what dream do you hold for yourself...what inspires you...what are you ready to commit to for healing... what are you ready to let go of...
We know this to be true because it was written
Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. “Rabbi,” his disciples asked him, “why was this man born blind? Was it because of his own sins or his parents’ sins?”
“It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,” Jesus answered. “This happened so the power of God could be seen in him. ~John 9:1-5
